Which food gets rid of Acne and spots?

In this Article, We will be talking about some best foods that may help cure acne naturally and reduce pimple spots. It helps your skin to stay healthy.

What causes acne?

  • Acne is caused by increased production of sebum (oil).

  • This oil sits in the pores of the skin.

  • When these pores get blocked and are then easily infected.

  • These all lead to the formation of Pimples.

  • Picking or popping a pimple will lead to spots and marks.

Who gets effected the most.?

  • Teenagers

  • before menstruation

  • Acne is elevated due to stress

  • In people who do not follow a face care routine.

  • Seen in people with Zinc deficiency.

What are the solutions which you can get from food?

  • The most important thing is to eat a basic healthy diet.

  • Increase intake of carrots, apricots, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. These are rich in beta-carotene. Beta-carotene is converted into vitamin A in your body and it is most important to keep your skin healthy. Dermatologists will prescribe you a drug called RETINOID, please go and check Google, what is retinoid? you will find it is a vitamin A derivative. That's it! You can get this from the above veggies too without any side effects.

  • Eat plenty of Zinc containing foods such as Shellfish, Lean meat, and nuts.

  • Increase your vitamin E intake as well. Vitamin E is found in vegetable oils, almonds, and cod liver oil which helps in healing of the acne scars.

  • Include vitamin C in your diet to help your skin fight infection. It is found in fresh fruits like oranges, lemons, kiwis, and vegetables.

  • If you don't want to or don't have time, at least it is good to include Vitamin E, C, and Zinc supplements.

What food you should avoid?

  • It is better to decrease your chocolate and saturated fat content. It is still not 100% proven that they will make acne worse.

  • Avoid too many sweets, fatty foods, and junk foods.

  • Avoid salty snacks and foods.

  • Do not take too many antibiotics which will kill good microflora of the gut which further worsens acne. Try to take bio yogurt which maintains gut flora.

Take away important points:

Eat green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits. Increase intake of foods rich in vitamins A, E, C, and zinc, or take supplements. Avoid above mentioned foods.
